After Sales - Insurance
When purchasing a home in the sun, there are many things that people do not take in to consideration. The easy way to think about it is to treat it like your property in the UK. The most important thing as with anything is insurance. Working with HIFX Insurance Services Ltd, we are able to offer tailor made packages to suit individual needs.
Once you have purchased a property different factors apply to the level of cover required. If for instance you have purchased a villa you will need building and contents insurance. If you have purchased an apartment on a complex, it becomes the responsibility of the community to insure the actual buildings, therefore you would just need contents insurance on your property.
If you are allowing family and friends to use the property, or you maybe considering renting it out for an income, you will need Public Liability insurance. This will cover you for every eventuality and provide peace of mind for your guests.
If renting your apartment out, you will find from time to time things may happen that are beyond your control. For instance the property upstairs may have a water leak that effects your property, thus meaning you may have to cancel a rental or the guest may have to be compensated for any inconvenience. Again HIFX have a policy to cover against this.
